If want you to look extra photogenic, I’m giving you four more tips on how to photograph well.
#1 Have A Genuine Smile
Part of photographing well having a world-class smile. The best and most basic tip on smiling is to stop forcing a BIG smile. Rather, laugh from the heart and create a genuine smile. Try to think of something funny or happy and just remember how that moment made you feel. Maybe ask your photographer to tell you a joke. Not only do you get a free comedy show, but you will also begin to relax and are going to have the brightest smile.
#2 Raise Your Arms
You don’t need to look like you’re cheering for your favorite team or parting the night away, but you should try to keep your arms a slight distance from your body so they don’t flatten out on your side and create unnecessary weight. Just put a slight gap between your arms and your torso. Sometimes just bending the elbow a touch can do the trick.
#3 Draw Attention To Your Eyes
You want to be bright-eyed and relaxed with your eyes. As Tyra Banks always says, try to smize (smile with your eyes). You can also try to draw positive attention to your eyes with tasteful and beautiful makeup. Curling your lashes and applying mascara will open your eyes and allow others to marvel in your bright eyes! Maybe even try some false eyelashes for an extra pop to your images.
#4 Press Your Tongue Onto The Back Of Your Your Front Teeth
To get a model’s jawline ... it’s time to move your tongue. Pressing your tongue to the front of your mouth is going to fill in your smile beautifully and also lift your chin just a tiny bit. This also can help your jawline look more defined without looking too rigid.
