If you are about to start your senior year, keeping a scrapbook of the highlights is great way to hold on the memories way past this milestone season of your life. Here are some photo ideas of what can go into your senior scrapbook project!
1. You and Your Pet
When you look back at what made senior year, and even high school, so special you'll probably have the best memories that include your furry relatives. Grab a snapshot of you and their little face pressed together. If they decide to lick your cheek, even better!
2. You and Your Friends
As you grow older, you'll find that spending time with friends isn't as easy as it once was. As you get older, you may follow different life paths. Having different goals, commitments, or geography can make it difficult for you to meet up quickly. It's those moments when you were at your favorite hangout spot and laughing about anyting that you’ll want to remember.
3. Your Favorite Teacher
Sometimes it's just good to have pictures with people who have been inspirational or motivational at any stage in our lives. And in many cases, that's going to be a teacher. It doesn't have to be a teacher you've had in your senior year, it could be any teacher who you feel has made a significant contribution to your life. It could even be a coach or counselor at your school.
4. Your Favorite Class
Position yourself at the back of the class and take a picture when no one’s aware. This way you have an authentic look at what your favorite class of senior year looked like. It's about the memories.
5. 18th Birthday Pictures
Whether you have an epic 18th birthday or not, you only turn 18 once, so you might as well have great pictures of the day. Whether it's just a photographic journal of the day's events or something more planned like a professional photoshoot, including pictures of your 18th birthday in your scrapbook is a must!
6. Graduation Pictures
What's the point of high school if you don't get your graduation photos? You should probably dedicate an entire section to graduation. This chapter makes sense going in the back of the scrapbook as it's one of the most iconic last days of high school. Cap and gown pictures are a must!
7. Senior Prom
Creating lasting memories of your senior prom is something you will definitely want to do! Even if it is just a chance to get some great photos of you in your gown while in a garden, you will love that you will remember how beautiful you felt and looked.
8. Acceptance Letter
Nothing says senior year like getting college acceptance letters. It also has great significance as you'll be stepping into the next biggest chapter of your life, and you'll probably want to look back at where it all started - getting accepted into college!
9. Quotes
Quotes can give your senior pictures more context, they also make a great decorative feature in your scrapbook. Use quotes that you find appealing. Some can have been said by famous people, or it could just be something a friend or parent said that stuck in your head. It could even be something you just find hilarious.
10. Last Day of School
Your last class on your last day probably won't feel significant in the moment. But if you're feeling nostalgic, just having a memory of that moment is reason enough to go for it, right? It can be anything really - last day at the cafeteria, last day using your locker, or last sporting practice. If you can't take the pictures yourself, because you want to be in them, get someone to take them for you.
••• If you get a large enough scrapbook you should try to detail senior year from the start to the end. Try to focus on key events and create a sort of time capsule.
