Having a good senior photoshoot is valuable for the sweetest of memories during this milestone moment. Everyone wants to be photographed by an experienced photographer who knows how to capture the best portraits and your personalities. Here is a bundle of some of my favorite senior poses that you can use during your special photoshoot. 

Sitting Poses

It’s my job as the photographer to make you feel comfortable while posing for a photo. Sitting poses are quite simple, yet comfortable for most folks. You can try a sitting pose on steps, a bench, a small wall, in front of door stoop, or even on the grassy ground. You can also spread a few flowers next to you or can simply hold a flower in your hand and pose like you are smelling it.

Use Confetti 

On a Graduation day, the dress code normally includes a black cap and gown, but if you want to add some color pop to your senior photos, take confetti in your hands and blow on it just before the camera goes click. I like to use biodegradable confetti, and it is ALWAYS polite to check with the venue regarding their confetti policy first and make sure that you are allowed to use it.

Use Scrabble Tiles

One of the easiest ways to compose some senior photos is to use scrabble tiles in front of the camera. All you need to is to jot down the tiles that make a word, like “senior.” Show those composed spelling tiles on your palm and get shot zoomed in. 

Hobbies

Another cool and attractive senior photo idea is to pose while doing a favorite hobby. You can hold something like a guitar, or play another instrument to show your fun side. Moreover, demonstrating your hobby or passion in your photos will add to your memories and nostalgia in the future when viewing them.
