I remember being a high school senior and how much it meant to me to be a part of something bigger than just myself. It was during my senior year that I realized how much I wanted to become a photographer. The seeds of my future were planted when I was assigned to be the lead photographer on the annual staff. Yes, we used film and a darkroom in those days for the yearbook, it was the 90s and digital had't become a thing yet. I loved every moment of it ... I learned a lot and it was quite the experience.
