High school senior photo sessions are a tradition. They offer so many wonderful ways to commemorate   such an important milestone in a teenager’s life. Check out the following tips to make it an even better experience.

1. Take Several Outfits That Offer Different “Looks”

Take clothing and accessories of various different styles to give yourself a wider range of options and storytelling in your images. Use your wardrobe and props (musical instruments, sports equipment, hobbies, etc.) to express who you are in your senior year and what is important to you. This is your moment to shine and to ensure that your personality shines through.

2. Choose Visually Simple Clothing

Avoid bringing outfits covered with designs or words. Think: simple is better. You want the focus to be on YOU, and not your clothing. 

3. Accentuate your Best Features with the Right Clothing

You want to feel pretty in your outfit! Have it flatter your figure. However, if you are “fighting” your clothing and not able to move or pose easily, then it is the wrong outfit choice. You want to be comfortable so you can enjoy the moment and get better images.

4. Bring Powder

Consider bringing along some translucent powder to give your face a bit of polish if necessary.
