Where is the Triad Area? In case you are new to our little corner of the world, The Triad area consists of the cities of Greensboro, Winston-Salem, and High Point as well as the surrounding areas. The Triad is very well-known for its furniture creation around the globe. 

These cities’ beauty and charm offer a lot of wonderful locations and options that are perfect for your senior photoshoot. Here are a few ideas of places to think about:

Guilford Courthouse National Military Park

It has a revolutionary war historical background and is a beautiful place to visit. There are long routes surrounded by green belts and benches in the park. It gives a charming and soothing effect to your pictures with its natural ambiance. 

The Arboretum

If you visualize your portraits using flowers, plants, and other natural objects in the background, then this venue is a great choice. It is a great place to capture such images as there are a lot of nuggets of great spaces to use for natural variations in your backdrop. It is in the core of the city and looks like an ornament of nature in a urban world. Defiantly worth a visit. 

Dogwood Farms

Located in Belews Creek, NC, this farm is the gift that keeps on giving! The sunset, the barns, the sunflowers, and other flower fields are perfect for that picturesque photoshoot that you are wanting. 

They grow sunflowers fields at different times of the year, so if you are wanting a bright, colorful, yellow pop in your images, you mostly likely will find that here. 

The times of sunflower planting very year to year, so look them up on Facebook for the perfect time to go on an adventure in a sunflower field. You can’t go wrong with this level of cheery positivity as a backdrop in your senior pictures. 

Old Salem • Heritage Bridge

This is an excellent, historical and traditional place. Great for a photoshoot. The Heritage Bridge is an iconic Winston Salem landmark and it is perfect for your senor portraits. From there, you can walk around Old Salem for other locations that are primed backgrounds for your pictures. Located in the heart of Winston Salem.

Divine Llama Vineyard

Located in East Bend, NC, this winery is such a pleasant place to visit. Green everywhere. The trees, farmhouse, and animals (yes, they do have llamas) there are simply beyond beautiful. Its natural scenery of sky meeting with the green floor surpasses the word ‘beauty’. The whole atmosphere present there gives a soothing and relaxing effect. Another fun place to consider when thinking about your senior photoshoot.
