A senior photoshoot provides you with the ultimate opportunity to present your best self to the world. It is an investment in both a commemoration of all of your accomplishments, as well as milestone memories. 

There are so many props that you can use during your photo session that represent you and who you are in your high school senior year. This is your chance to capture these special moments during your photoshoot also. 

Here are a few ideas to get you started on what props to consider bringing to your senior photoshoot. 

1. Sports Jersey, Uniform and Equipment

These are some of the best props to use that represent you and your love for sports. You may be lucky and talented enough to get a college scholarship for your efforts, or you may be satisfied with just competing on a high school level. Either way, having photos of you in your sports element are images that you will cherish log after you have hung up your cleats. 

2. Musical Instrument

Another great prop for a senior photoshoot is your favorite musical instrument. If you dream of becoming a musician, it makes perfect sense to get your pictures taken playing like the maestro that you are. Bring your instrument of choice along for the photoshoot, and the results will be phenomenal. There are a lot of poses that you can do with musical instruments. To be honest, I love just hearing talented people play. Let have some fun!

3. Academic Materials

You might also want to show off your academic side. If you love reading books, they make fantastic props as well. You can read them, stack them, or carry them. There are lots of creative ideas to show off your favorite stories and authors. 

4. Sentimental Items

Is there an item that means a lot to you? Bring it along for the photoshoot. It could be a baby picture of you, a family heirloom, your doggie, a special piece of jewelry, or even your lucky sweater. Whatever it might be, think about what items you may want to show off in pictures, it will instantly make the images more special.

5. Balloons

It is fun to bring some balloons along that have the two numbers of your graduating year represented. These are great to hold while in your cap and gown outfit. Also, a pop of color can go a long way in transforming the way the pictures look. Get balloons in your high school mascot colors to match your graduation themed photos. 

6. Clothing Accessories

A great way to get different outfit looks quickly is by adding some accessories. You can put on a scarf, hat, sunglasses, jacket, or any other accessory that you love. Easy-Peasy!

6. Your College Spirit!
